Introduction
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought once uttered is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard...
take in their song and speak no word.

Oh! I never knew that holidays could be that boring! Well, my only consolation is that my dance performance is coming up this Sunday but I am also quite worried over it! I learnt that dance in one day, so one can't blame me for forgetting half the dance. It's supposed to be for some important MP of Jalan Besar and I don't know the dance well enough... I'm so dead! I saw this documentary on the discovery of an ancient mummy found at the desert between Libya and Egypt! The mummy was dated back to 5,500 years.. It was really well-preserved for a mummy that age. And that terrible host of the show said that the discovery left the Egyptian mummies to be uninteresting! How horrible can he get! It is rather interesting to find that the mummification process was done about 1000 years before mummification was introduced into Egypt. Thus, it is concluded that Egypt's culture is not as unique and genuine as thought before. Nevertheless, no horrible host would deny that Ancient Egypt 's culture was astonishing, magnificent and most importantly, sophisticated! Ancient Egyptians started such an activity to reach a great level of sophistication. To reach that level, borrowing some elements of another culture was needed. That does not make the egyptian any less interesting. Moreover, it astonishes me even further that the Egyptians implemented another culture so well into theirs! Egypt rulez~
P.S: Sorry to Michelle... She also helped me get a drink during netball carn and I didn't thank her.. I'm really sorry, Michelle! I was so sad after the tragic loss in the games that I couldn't remember what happened!!
