Introduction
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought once uttered is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard...
take in their song and speak no word.

Masks.. That is what this world is all about. I know, I am being very pessimistic. BUT. Think about it, the better you can put on a particular mask, the more you succeed in life, the more friends you get. You can't have that I-dont-care-what-others-think-about-me attitude anymore because that it is being stupid.
Let's say your loved one dies and you do not want to cry, you still have to, because all your love for that person is going to be judged based on how much and how well you cry. Now, it's not about whether you wear the mask anymore. It's about WHICH mask you wear and how you play the part of your mask.
Stop dead on your tracks! Don't take another step because they will all judge you for it! Whatever you do, a thousand eyes are looking. At you. How or what you feel does not matter. Well, it never mattered. Just that we were all blind to this sickening truth before.
Haha! It's funny and ironic, how some people who are suicidal say, "I don't want to be a burden to the society!" and they die. My view is that society is the burden and having to fit into it is an even bigger burden.
We are all hypocrites, not because we want to but because we are forced to. The few lucky ones whose nature that is admirable to the society are spared but Hypocrisy is a disease that is transmitted via human beings to other human beings inevitably. There is no stopping it. It is too destructive a force.
And WE are supposed to be made in the image of God. How ironically sad and pathetic.
