Introduction
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought once uttered is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard...
take in their song and speak no word.

I think that one BIG probelm that still continues to exist with traditional parents and their children is the fact that the both of them can never foster a deep friendship. It is a type of relationship in which the children get treated unequally. As for me, when I grow up and if I ever become a parent, I want to make sure that my [child(ren)] do not feel the same way as me.
I dunno, dif people have different ideas of what good and bad are and my parents' and my opinions certainly seem to conflict a whole lot of times! Yeah! I agree that we have to respect our parents but we should not let REPSECT become a wall separating us. Friends should also respect each other, just that to what extent, depends on the friends themselves. I really want my parents and myself to a good friends but my hope is SO not working out now. Haiz..
