Introduction
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought once uttered is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard...
take in their song and speak no word.

I have realised that I still have not posted about the wonderful Johnny Depp in POTC 2 and neither have I posted about how I actually enjoyed Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikesi and my adventures during Flag Day 2006. Ahh. Forget about it, I'll never get to typing so much stuff in one day. Talking about more recent stuff, our international dance concert finally ended and I'm eagerly waiting for Speech Day to end. Like FAST!! Today's post it gonna be about some great books I've read in this term. All are delectable reads and are recommended to one and all.. :)
1) The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
2) Life of Pi by Yaaf Martel (I'm still in the process of reading it)
3) And then there were none by Agatha Christie
Just a random thought. Humans are like buildings. Each building is unique in its own way. They are all designed by architects. Some are built with inferior quality cement and bricks while others are not. The way each building turns out highly depends on how strong its foundation is. You know that no building is going to stand tall forever. Of course, there are rare gems like the PYRAMIDs :) that have endured the ravages of time but even the limestone will get eroded. All buildings are built for a purpose, so technically they are all useful but only the ones that are aesthetically appealing or different in some way will probably be appreciated by mankind. But, face it, they are all gonna be torn down like the Kallang Stadium in the end.
Okayy. I can't believe I just typed all those stuff. :) Anyway, I shall move on to my quotes section.
1) "The reason death sticks so closely to life isn't a biological necessity- it's envy. Life is so beautiful that death had fallen in love with it, a jealous, possessive love that grabs at what it can."
2) "Reason is my prophet and it tells me that as a watch stops, so we die. It's the end."
3) "To choose doubt as a philosophy of life is akin to choosing immobility as a means of transportation."
4) "..there is only one sin, only one. And that is theft. Every other sin is a variation of theft... When you kill a man, you steal a life. You steal a wife's right to a husband, rob his children of a father. When you tell a lie, you steal someone's right to the truth."
5) And that, I believe is what true redemption is, Amir jan, when guilt leads to good."
:)) That's it for now! Yesterday, we celebrated Daddy's birthday by going to the temple, eating at Parkway Thai and watching 'Something Something Unakkum Enakkum'. The movie was sooooo hilarious! Some songs I really like AFTER watching the movie are the something something song (the one Divya likes) and un paarvaiyil. Yep, that's it for now.. :]
