Introduction
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought once uttered is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard...
take in their song and speak no word.

Sangamam was a truly great experience for me! Apart from getting to know more interesting things about people and talking to more people, I also seriously enjoyed doing everything I did. Indera was saying how she wouldn't mind doing the whole show again, I shall rethink my stand.
I have to admit, looking at the show the day before, I practically had no hope for it but we kinda made it. We only started makeup at like 4.45pm with the show starting at 6pm! The seniors had their song item to rehearse for so makeup went haywire and superbly disorganised but we managed to crap up something in the end! Phew.
Navras went great, special thanks to my beloved juniors who cheered for me at the end. God, do I miss rg! I think the comedy drama was so well-received, my mum is in love with Kannan for his acting. She was raving when I got home, haha. Nachle was fun, with all of us not forgetting our steps and actually enjoying the dance. My skirt thankfully flared without getting stuck (unlike the tech run on Friday) so that's a relief!
Fashion show made my heart stop.. well, almost. There I was, looking for Partheban who couldn't be found anywhere and the Maharashtrian region was already up on stage. I asked everyone, he wasn't in the men's changing room and no one know where he was! Our region (Gujarati) was the third and he still didn't appear when the second item was over. You see, each region had 1.5 min so I was praying so darn hard that he wil somehow find his way in that 1.5 mins. And then the second group finished and our music started. So, I just held my breath and right when I was about to go on stage, he appeared backstage and I was SO relieved!
It's amazing how well things turned out for me (despite other mishaps which were handled with great finesse!) and I believe Joel/ Pern Jie's stick bottle (I got the dark blue stick TWICE in a row) actually helped in some warped way. Red is the luckiest, while dark blue is the 2nd luckiest. Sara, Xian and Serene all got different colours in their 2nd attempt! ><
Gotta love Fuzzy for how she managed what happened to her and I admire her resilience! Kudos to Senthil too, for being gentlemanly. Great job by everyone and finally, it's time to get some rest before going full-force on the mugging. All in all, a great way to end a great day!
Am gonna miss all the groups of people. LTTR, dancers, classmates and others, you'll be missed terribly. I have resolved to have fun despite all the work I need to get done in the holidays. I CAN DO IT! (:
