Introduction
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought once uttered is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard...
take in their song and speak no word.

Just finished reading 'Keeping Faith' by J. Picoult, a book about a girl having visions of God and how many people are skeptical since the miracles she performs are that of a Catholic while she's actually a Jew. She has followers but people criticise her for seeing a female God. Interesting how one can't imagine having a female God in our patriarchal society.
I will give credit to Hinduism for that. At least when it comes to God, we do not discriminate. I mean, you can be fat (Ganesha), dark (Krishna), female (Shakthi) or even an animal (Garuda) and yes, you are still worshipped.
I remember wondering a long time ago if God existed. I mean, since there are so many religions around the world, does that mean that all these Gods are non-existent, or that there is only one or no true religion? The only conclusion that I've come to is that no matter where you are and who pray to, what truly matters is your faith. It doesn't matter if God doesn't exist if your faith is pure and uncontaminated.
