Introduction
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought once uttered is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard...
take in their song and speak no word.

Ah, how interesting is it that you come out of the superhero film and all you can think about is the villain? No, it's not because of Heath Ledger's death, it's just that the movie was so, so, so good!
Never have I watched a movie at 1.40am and still be wide awake to discuss the philosophical arguments in the film after that. Throughout the ENTIRE film, I didn't even try closing my eyes, I naturally was awake because it was so darn gripping! And the common sight of familiar faces throughout the film also helped greatly (The Mayor, Nester Carbonell from LOST! :) and the corrupt banker, the guy who plays Mahone in PB!)
I love the irony of how sardonic and caustic the Joker is despite being a Joker. And I think the audience will concur with me that he was so entertaining despite all that! The nurse outfit, the dark jokes, and clapping after Gordon's promotion, he was just so GOOD! His interpretation of the character is so deep and you can just see all the effort oozing on screen.. I feel so sad that the poor guy had to die at such a young age, but well. As Priya says, I love Chris Nolan! The movie was so well-planned and the inner conflict of Bruce Wayne was so well-handled and mature that Peter Parker's angsty self in SM3 feels almost juvenile.
Would have been interesting if Heath Ledger could reprise his role in a sequel with Harley Quin as his romantic interest, but I think the Dark Knight's version of the Joker would simply kill Harley Quinn just to make a statement!
LOVE LOVE LOVE THE DARK KNIGHT! :D
