Introduction
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought once uttered is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard...
take in their song and speak no word.

Woah, today was like major catching up day for me! Talking to bhuvan was fun as always, she saying sick stuff and me being grossed out as usual, what's new? As usual, it's funny how much you can crap about anything and everything. Yes Man is so crappy and weird, so much so that 'weird' became the word of the day for both bhu and me! ZOOEY DESCHANEL, I love her sister in Bones and she sang so well in the movie! Powerhouse sisters, man! I can't believe how much I have lost touch with J8, being an ex-Bishanian and current close-proximity-to-Bishanian. I realised I hadn't even seen the Christmas decorations until today, after Christmas! How sad.
When we were eating at Food Junction, I met my ex-neighbour from our Bishan flat, whose family went to settle in Australia in 2006 (so long already, sigh). We lived in the 12th storey, and them the 13th. Before they left, we used to celebrate Deepavali together and get thiruttu DVDs from them. Haha, those wee awesome times.. Apparently, her sister is giving birth and their fmaily is visiting her. Sigh, it was just so nice to see her again! It invokes so many awesome memories from my childhood!
Last but not least, I got a call from Rhubs today. Haha, you see, she is the chairperson of Indian Dance 2009 and we talked for 50.11 mins straight! I just reached home when she called so I kept walking around my lobby and fitness corner like some crazy woman since there's no reception in the lift. We are both in the same boat, with SYF coming and having so few people. We are very similar people, in that we can remember loads of crap information. In stark contrast to our academics, that is. I think her problem is even worse, she claims no one treats her seriously, in her own words:
"I am like some pichaikkaari (beggar woman) from another class, they simply won't listen to me!!!"
HAHAHAHA. I miss you, girl!
Ahh, talking about all those secret gossip sessions after ponning sports fest '07 to iron SYF costumes and the great times during dance camp brought back so many memories! No wonder she created that ridiculous Facebook account.. Sad that some dancers have lost their CCA spirit, what has happened? Hmm, it was enlightening to hear so much about the ongoings of RGS from Rhubs! Thank you, Mrs Prama, for saying good stuff about me to your daughter! :P Good luck to both of us, for a nice SYF with GWH! Rhubs, you are going to be a great chair, so stop doubting your abilities, woman! And you are so going to make Dance Alumni chalet happen! :D :D
Ooh, my mum just came home with a Christmas greeting card for me, and the handwriting looks just like Jas's! Haha, the envelope looks so pretty that I don't have the heart to tear it open.. Thank you Jas, the envelope looks gorgeous! (okay, I will open it soon, I took like hours to open Sara's and Cheryl's)
It's 10.45 and I still haven't eaten. And my mum just sounded like Sumathi chithi, with her 'Eh, saapidu pullai!'. Haha, the Madurai accent sounds funny on her. :P
What a day!
P.S: Chia Pei Xian, I am addicted to enough things as it is, you made me waste 30 mins of my life reading about MJ. He is such a poor guy with so many abuses, diseases, surgeries, accusations and scandals, I pity and marvel at his successes. Repeated viewings of Thriller are certainly more disturbing than seasons' worth of Bones and Criminal Minds! :P
