Hmm, today was an okayly good and extremely bad day! Good cos' I tried something that I've wanted to do desperately for ages: ICE SKATING!!! Ah, ice skating is really fun and interesting when you don't end up falling badly and spraining your poor ankle. I was supremely scared, when I could't even get out of the skating shoes since the ankle was so swollen. I really have never seen my ankle veengufied so much despite my vast experience in ankle-spraining. I am so darn thankful for the ever concerned, caring and awesome Os, Sorn and Vaish! They even got ice for me and made sure at least one person kept me company while the rest continued skating! Without the ice, I wouldn't have been able to slip back into my sports shoes and wouldn't have been able to walk all the way back to Jurong East mrt and from the busstop to my house.
Haha, thanks Vaish, for making my day. While os and sorn have done ice skating at least twice, it was the first time for both of us. Vaish, being extremely smart fell down a million times in the ring (to my credit, I fell down about four times). That's not why she's smart. Normal people fall when they are trying to skate. Vaish falls whenever she holds onto the rails! Smart right? Haha, my legs still haven't defrosted yet because of all the ice compressed against my ankle.
Sigh, another reason why it was a bad day was cos' my watch stopped running. Now, THAT screams inauspicious all the way. Somehow, looking at the time is an integral part of my life and I can't do without my watch. Looking at my phone is such a hassle!
I had a pretty bad day, and it singing a sad song wouldn't turn it around. ) :
