Introduction
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought once uttered is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard...
take in their song and speak no word.

Oh, losing your voice can officially be one of the worst things to happen to a person. Well, I've had really bad, even worse sore throats before and never lost my voice. Going to school was a BAD experience! Well, you see, I was never good at playing charades.
I knoe a whole lot of people who were highly amused by the fact and teased me like hell (thanks, Greg and Joel! -.-). Oi, stupid Greg made fun of me by imitating me and Joel took the chance to insult me since I couldn't retort back. What great classmates, right? Haha, but I learned quite a lot of things from this experience.
For one, my hand-signalling skills have vastly improved. Despite the "genius-ness" of some people (yes, bhuvan, pointing to my watch does mean 'time'! ><), I could get my point across quite okay with everyone, the clear exceptions being bhuvan :P, sara :P:P:P, and of course, how could I forget, radhika.
I certainly had fun lah. Shanti was highly amazed whenever any sound came out of my mouth involuntarily. Radhika subconsciously communicated with me using had signals despite having a voice, Anna had the uncanny ability to decipher whatever I had to say to my classmates (Bless you, friend!).
Despite all this, I have finally gotten my voice back! :) However, yesterday night, my right ear got blocked totally and I couldn't sleep for a long while due to the seering pain. Th ear drops kinda helped but I still feel super tired and sick and my head feels heavier on the right side! Sigh, I desperately hope that this bout of flu will go soon!
