Introduction
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought once uttered is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard...
take in their song and speak no word.

I am truly amazed at what happened today. Normally, when I go home, I get down at the 156 busstop opposite my house. Today, some construction work was going on from the busstop to the area of the traffic light and there seemed to be no way to get to the traffic light. So being the dumb person that I am, I decided to walk through a longer way to get there. Problem #1: I have never in my life been through that way.
I simply assumed that when you walk through this row of bungalows, you'l get to the road junction but this did not happen. I walked. And I walked a lot more until I reached CHIJ Our Lady of Nativity (or something like that) which I never knew existed anywhere near my house I and panicked and freaked out so much, I RAN the way I came from (quite a long distance) back to the bus-stop.
When I got there, I decided to walk into the road (as both the pavement and one lane of the road had been blocked off for construction) and then this construction worker stopped me. Yes, joel, I think he's from Bangladesh. He tried communicating to me about how to get to the junction but I clearly didn't understand, so he walked me all the way to the junction, cramming between some of the huge machines. Sweet right, I kinda feel bad for being initially quite scared and skeptical. And of course, I learnt more about my neighbourhood after being here for 10 months (CHIJ is apparently supposed to be quite nearby!). Thank you, Mr Construction Worker, for taking the time off your work and being kind to me! :)

The me that you see from your mind - the me I will never be.The me that you see from your heart - the me I will always be.You are not God nor is my love that of angel. When we are both humans, then why this frequent torment.
There will never be another now - Let's make the most of today. There will never be another us. Let's make the most of ourselves.Thinking of bygones, it's been a long expanse. A reflection of days long archaic - misplaced emotions, desires & secretsBut does love, like all things decay? This poem is dedicated to you (you know that I am talking about you if I 've told you!), by the way. Found this poem from the net and I cut out the relevant bits. Although it is a love poem, the first thing I thought of was about friendship. About how what was thought to be a 'Friends Forever' kind of relationship crumbled into what it is now. About how just five months ago, they were inseparable friends, in stark contrast to what they've become. About how one single conflict between two people has blown up into something so big that I almost feel it's way too late to be resolved. Sends shivers down my spine to think of how things have become. All I want to say to you now, is that no matter what you do, I trust you to make the right choices and believe what you say unconditionally. You are my friend, I love you and I truly hope our friendship is never reduced to what happened to you and her. ><
