Introduction
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought once uttered is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard...
take in their song and speak no word.

I am highly amused by the two kids who have taken it upon themselves to mess up my room. It is no fair, the primary one kids in CHIJ Toa Payoh have a holiday this Thursday and Friday because their seniors are having their prelims and my little friend here is entirely gleeful.
Today, a 7-year old kid was able to carry me today and she all but called me weak and she brought my face to her ear and whispered -don't cough or laugh at me-,"Akka, neenga romba cute-a irukeenga!". YAY! But then to spoil it all, the little bro looked at me and said that my face is too small. I scowled at him, and said, "So is yours!" :P The boy seemed pretty pissed. Dunno whether to be deeply embarrassed or flattered.
Then, Shafiya (the girl's name) was complaining to me about not being able to do subtraction and had a half an hour discussion with me regarding raccoons. She was highly confused to whether they were farm or wild animals. And then, she was playing with my scientific calculator and flaunting her ability to multiply using it to her brother and then looked at me and asked, "Can you multiply using this?" with such innocence that I wanted to laugh at her. Instead, I looked at her and said, "I should think so." Best to keep it at that. :D
Haha, the two are so amusing. I can normally never talk to kids because I run out of things to say or generally feel pretty uncomfortable but these two made me laugh with their primary school pop culture. So much so that they could successfully extricate me from my Breaking Dawn! AMAZING.
My convo with my sister from yesterday comes to mind. When I am older, I so want a little girl to dress up. Boys are sooo boring! :P The sheer multitudes of dressing gowns for girls in the departmental stores attest to that! Okay, digression. Back to Breaking Dawn!
