Introduction
Speak not, lie hidden, and conceal
the way you dream, the things you feel.
Deep in your spirit let them rise
akin to stars in crystal skies
that set before the night is blurred:
delight in them and speak no word.
How can a heart expression find?
How should another know your mind?
Will he discern what quickens you?
A thought once uttered is untrue.
Dimmed is the fountainhead when stirred:
drink at the source and speak no word.
Live in your inner self alone
within your soul a world has grown,
the magic of veiled thoughts that might
be blinded by the outer light,
drowned in the noise of day, unheard...
take in their song and speak no word.

Uh, I have a running nostril. Yes, only half of my nose is running which is darn strange and irritating! It's like the right side of my face is infected! My right temple throbs, right nostril leaking, right ear blocked, right side of throat aching. I kept willing the pain and phlegm to go away, but no, the higher powers probably have something against me, at least the right side of me. NOOO, not six days before the trip!!
Okay, this is probably too much information for the readers of this blog to stomach already, so I shall spare you from any further disturbing imagery there.
I already woke up feeling sick today, and freezing in the clinic didn't help, apparently. I bet it's a conspiracy on the part of hospitals to make their patients even sicker so that they can make more money. Literally pagal kollai-ying us in an indirect way. Hmph.
Sucessful in my attempt to complete perusing the previously-thought-to-be-awful-but-actually-quite-decent Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Guess what, I practically remembered nothing about the book except that the forest scenes were/are painfully boring. Gosh, I even forgot that MEM dies early in the book. And that Snape is a good guy. And precisely what the Deathly Hallows were. Haha, I know, whoops! Well, whatever Harry probably acomplished in the 19 years, one thing he sucks at is his name-allocating skills. Albus Severus Potter??? Of the thousands of nice names out there. Though you can't blame Dumbledore and Snape for having strange first names. :P
Okay, the sleep-inducing drugs have taken their toll on me. I think I should sleep now.

The people at AMK Family Physicians' Clinic are just so nice! It was like seeing a few Angela Montenegros in a Grey's Anatomy setting instead of on Bones (Talking about Bones, the last episode was BEYOND awesome! Booth or Booth-lite?). Haha, the receptionist was so kind and talked to me for quite a while. And oh my, the doctor was so unbelievably nice!! He looked fascinated by my career interests, given the path taken by my dear sister.
AND OMG, his wife has been to LiJiang and thinks it's the prettiest place in the world! Woo! It was just amazing to go back to a work setting that resembled Changi so much. Great people, similar work anf freezing working conditions. The striking similarity doesn't just stop there, they were even discussing what present to get their interns, just like how they did for me in Changi! So so sweet! Felt so darn nostalgic when I got out of there. Some more, with Sijia talking about working there next hols.. Ah, bliss!
Can't wait for tomorrow! :D Sorry I need to leave early though.. :/
[edit] :. I probably am deluded, but I saw someone somewhere who looked suspiciously similar to someone else. I saw the face in a flash but it couldn't be the person in question simply because of where this look-ailke person was seen. Haha, and as I say again, what a strange world it is.. I wonder if I actually have eight other people in this world who look like me.. :O
